Portrush is the largest town on the north coast with all the amenities including nightclubs, amusements and restaurants, it also has a railway connection to Belfast and Dublin. Two excellent beaches flank the town, West Strand looks out to Donegal and East Strand wraps around an ancient sand dune system and is over 2km long. There is local heritage interest in and around the the town which is well worth exploring. The image above was taken on the approach road from Bushmills. |
