THE ANCHORAGE
The Anchorage self-catering town houses are located in Portballintrae, a quiet fishing village. The houses are a short distance (30 metres) from Portballintrae Harbour and the sheltered sandy beach, offering safe bathing and shallow rock pools. Recently built (2009), these town houses are well appointed and set back from the main road offering partial views of the North Atlantic. They are a short costal walk away from the Giant's Causeway, and one mile from the Bushmills Distillery. Each house comprises of an open plan kitchen/dining/living area, with French doors opening onto a south facing courtyard with BBQ and patio furniture. The houses are gas central heated, with a fully fitted kitchen; including dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. There is a toilet on the ground floor level, with a bathroom on both the first and second floors. The first floor double bedroom is en-suite with a south facing balcony. In total there are four rooms; one double, two twins and one single, comfortably sleeping seven. Each house has private off street parking. WEE BUSH COTTAGE
Wee Bush is a charming holiday cottage less than a minutes walk from the beach, and a 15 minute coastal walk to the Giants Causeway. Bushmills, home of the world famous distillery, can be reached by foot, car or miniature steam train, and Portrush Golf Club is less than a 10 minute coastal drive. The house has two bedrooms, one is a double room and the other a room with single bed and bunk beds. This will comfortably sleep 5. Very cosy sitting room with TV and Sky, as well as gas fire. There is also central heating, washing machine, private enclosed back garden which is perfect for children, parking and BBQ area. We are dog friendly.
