Magilligan sweeps out from below Binevenagh mountain and is bordered on one side by the Roe river and the other by Downhill. The area is rich in heritage and provides the only ferry service to Donegal which crosses from the Point to Greencastle.. There are lots of sites of interest to visit and walks to enjoy, the beach at Benone is also one of the longest in Ireland. If you drive up from Magilligan to Binevenagh you will be rewarded with some spectacular panoramic views over the area and beyond to Donegal. |
