Coleraine is an historic town situated on the river Bann and one of the largest centre's of population along the Causeway Coastal Route. The town is well laid out with pedestrain streets lined with period architecture and a wonderful diamond area. The atmosphere is relaxed rather than the rushed and crowd experience of cities,  the shops are interspersed with lots of cafes and eateries and the choice is superb. For those who want a large super mall store like sainsburys then  their is a retail park out of town with several of these together.  Coleraine is also home to the University of Ulster.
