Bushmills is located two miles from the Giants Causeway and home to the Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery. The village is designated as a conservation area and features lots of listed period architecture. The main reason for its existence is the river Bush though the heritage goes back to when man first forded a crossing here. The area is rich with places of interest to visit and discover. You will also find the North Antrim 'way of talking' is very pronounced here as are the Ulster Scots/Scots Irish identity. |
