Ballintoy overlooks Rathlin Sound and the Scottish Isles and is walking distance to Whitepark Bay and Carrick a Rede. A picturesque heritage harbour is situated about a mile walk from the village, here you will find the coastal path to Whitep[ark Bay and also homemade fayre at Margaret's Kitchen.  The sheer beauty and wildness this area is wonderful, the history and heritage is under every footstep you take along the ancient pathways to Carrick a Rede and Whitepark Bay, the latter is where man first settled these shores.
